Project Description

The MFN project involves the rationalisation of the Port Botany container terminal and associated track and signalling changes to improve the efficiency of freight movement through Sydney’s metropolitan area. This project is critical for supporting the growing demands of freight transport and enhancing the capacity of the Port Botany terminal.

Scope

Track and signalling changes through the shared corridor from Cooks River to Enfield marshalling yard. This project involved complex interface management between ARTC and Railcorp systems, signal upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements to support increased freight capacity.
