Gary Buckridge is a highly experienced Signals Team Leader at ASI with over 15 years of specialist signalling construction, maintenance, and supervision expertise. Qualified with a Graduate Certificate in Signalling and Telecommunications, Cert IV in Electrical – Rail Signalling, and Cert III Electrotechnology Systems Electrician, Gary has built a strong career delivering complex signalling works across NSW and Queensland.

His background includes Signal Supervisor and Signal Electrician roles with ASI, Downer EDI, Southern Cross Signalling, and BHP Iron Ore. Key project experience includes:

• Inland Rail – Narrabri to North Star (ARTC) – Signalling and Civil Supervisor
• Kooragang Island Upgrade – Downer EDI
• Multiple North Coast Line signalling upgrades and maintenance (ARTC)
• Port Botany and Picton to Glenlee commissioning works
• Various passing loop and level crossing installations

Gary is a hands-on leader who excels at supervising signalling and civil teams, managing resources and materials, and supporting testing and commissioning in live rail environments. He is also passionate about developing the next generation of signalling professionals and is currently mentoring four electrical apprentices
